Description
Art Nouveau sterling silver Turkish 3-piece coffee set on tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Coffeepot: Baluster body on raised foot; hinged and domed cover with bead finial. Handle high-looping and spout vertical s-form, both with leaf-mounted scroll brackets. Creamer: Ovoid with high-looping handle and helmet mouth. Both coffeepot and creamer have scalloped shoulder. Sugar: Bellied bowl on stepped foot; cover domed with ball finial. Tray: Round with deep well. All pieces have cast rim pattern in form of dynamic leafing-scroll waves.
Fully marked including maker’s stamp and director’s letter C (1902-7). Coffeepot, creamer, and sugar have pattern no. 6433 and order no. 2822. Tray has pattern no. 5765 and order no. 3610. Very good condition.
Dimensions: Coffeepot: H 11 x W 6 1/2 x D 4 in. Creamer: H 4 x W 4 1/2 x D 3 1/4 in. Sugar: H 4 1/4 x D 4 7/8 in. Tray: H 1 1/4 x D 14 in. Total weight: 78 troy ounces. #CB019 -
