Description
Wedgwood Majolica sardine box which features a fishing boat named 'SARDINIA', with fish in nets at either end. An anchor forms the handle. Colouration: brown, blue, grey, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, 'M 2582'. English diamond registration mark for the date 1878.
