Description
Set of eight vintage highball glasses by William Steig. William Steig created his amusing collection of dysfunctions, The Lonely Ones, in 1942. The popularity of the book inspired these bar glasses, which are most likely, circa 1950s. Steig is better known as early New Yorker magazine cartoonist and is the creator of Shrek. The glasses are a very unique example of his art and very interesting for any collector.
