This 19th Century French Tapisserie de Verdure, c. 1850’s, is exquisite. It is wool and cotton, and hangs on a metal tapestry rod with rings. The scene is framed by beautiful trees and depicts most prominently a pagoda and exotic birds in the woods. It is massive spanning 8 feet x 10 ½ feet and will make quite the statement.
