Description
This sculptural bathtub is a one-of-a-kind piece carved entirely by hand from a single massive hardwood trunk. Its form flows outward like a blooming flower, each curve shaped by both the natural growth of the tree and the intuitive carving process. The result is a functional object that feels closer to a living sculpture than a piece of furniture.
The surface reveals dramatic contrasts: pale golden heartwood streaked with deep blackened veins that trace natural fissures through the timber. These dark lines, sealed and polished, accentuate the organic undulation of the walls, giving the tub a geological depth.
Crafted using chainsaws, carving tools, and patient hand-finishing, the bathtub celebrates imperfection and material honesty. Its form is not imposed but guided, allowing the original tree to dictate the flow of its silhouette. The smooth interior is sealed for water resistance, ensuring full functionality without diminishing the tactile presence of raw wood.
Ideal for architectural bathrooms, spa retreats, and interiors that embrace elemental luxury, this bathtub commands attention as both a centerpiece and a usable object of art.
Sealed with multiple layers of oils and natural hardwax to ensure protection against water while maintaining the warmth and texture of real wood. Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom-grade furniture.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
