Description
Amazing looking petrified wood sink in absolute top quality. This impressive single sink comes with a unique slim shape and a fantastic natural coloration in beige, brown, black, grey and light yellow tones. The inside of the sink shows a polished surface while the outside impresses with its natural organic look.
Petrifaction is the result of a tree having been replaced by stone via a mineralization process that often includes permineralization and replacement. The organic materials making up cell walls have been replicated with minerals. Unlike other plant fossils, which are typically impressions or compressions, petrified wood is a three-dimensional representation of the original organic material which took millions of years to built.
PLEASE NOTE: if you are an interiors designer working in the hospitality industry, we do have a lot of other sinks in different colors and sizes. Just get in touch if you would need more pieces for a project. -
