18th century Swedish folk art mural / bonad painted on paper and later pasted on canvas and framed, ca 1750, Sweden.
Translated text: Solomon was crowned king and the people shouted, "Blessed be King Solomon!" The fist kings book, chapter one.
Height: 39,4" (100 cm)
Width: 45.7" (116 cm)
Depth: 0.6" (1.5 cm)
Original condition with visible signs of previous use that include scratches, fading, small cracks and fissures. -
