Large Abstract Waterlilies Painting Oil on Canvas, Signed Anderson, Circa 1970s
-
Description
Painted in the USA around the 1970s, this painting features warm tones of deep green and pale white and yellow on a backdrop of warm white and light teal. An pleasant combination of colors that when described, sound jarring, but actually end up creating a warm atmosphere. The waterlilies are painted with an impasto technique, meaning that they have literal depth from the thickly applied paint. Even in photos, they appear to jump out at the viewer, and this effect is amplified in person. You'll love this painting no matter where you place it. Signed "Anderson" on the lower left corner.
In good vintage and original condition. No rips or tears to canvas. Frame condition pictured in our many high-res photos. -
