Filippo Avalle was born of a Swiss mother and an Italian father in Chêne-Bougeries (Geneva) on 13th October 1947. This was about one year after the publication of Manifiesto Blanco by Lucio Fontana - an ideal master, a reference point for what Avalle was to sense as an artistic legacy to be developed. -
