A French framed oil on canvas painting from the early 20th century signed E. Kirk, depicting a St Bernard dog. Created in France during the first quarter of the 20th century, this oil on canvas painting features a three-quarter profile of a St Bernard dog. Standing out beautifully on a blue green landscape, the dog's brown and white coat captures the light. Focused on a scene invisible to us, the dog is sitting obediently, his tongue sticking out. Set inside a giltwood frame, signed and dated lower right, this oil on canvas painting circa 1919 will enliven any wall beautifully!
