Description
What we have is a set of 6 watercolors, done in France (circa 1885).
All are depicting a family out for day which ends in a picnic with bottles of wine, cognac and rum, the lady, man and children are all in fancy dress. So very French. All as you can see are done from life, one is more charming then the next. Very seldom do you see or find a complete set like this, and framed in gold leaf with beautiful matted. All are in excellent condition with no reworking of the watercolor and as you can see the family is all very, well dressed in the fashion of the time. - More Information
