Description
Hubert Henri de Vries (1899‑1979), Belgian artist, Boats in the Harbor, Antwerp, canvas 85 × 100 cm. Rendered in dominant marine blue tones, the painting depicts sailboats gently moored in tranquil waters. Through textured brushwork and a focus on light and atmosphere, de Vries captures the fleeting reflections and subtle shifts of color typical of Impressionism, evoking a serene and contemplative harbor scene.
