Description

This sophisticated abstract painting was realized by the esteemed Mid Century artist, Jean Brisson in 1961. It features an abstract grid like composition created by intersecting vertical and horizontal strokes rendered in tones of olive, moss, umber, slate and dove gray. With its soothing earthy palate and rectilinear form, this painting would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It comes presented in a custom ebonized walnut gallery frame and is signed "J.B." in the bottom left hand corner. Also, signed on verso "Jean Brisson D. 1961." Excellent condition.
