Description
CERAMIC ARTIST, Miguel Ángel Carrera is a Mexican creative, whose practice focuses on reinterpreting and materializing human thought. With a strong focus on ceramics and material processes, his work draws from the emotional and conceptual complexities of human relationships. Since beginning his career in 2015, Carrera has been deeply involved in design and production techniques, which he has adapted into a sculptural language that balances experimentation, intuition, and craft.
His practice is grounded in the belief that ideas—no matter how abstract—can be honored and embodied through making. By working primarily with ceramics, Carrera explores the expressive and symbolic potential of materials, creating pieces that reflect a dialogue between form, emotion, and the fragility of human experience. -
