Description
This is a 1969 signed painting in a mixed media with a Pop Art motif, stylized after Grant Wood's famous painting, "Woman with Plants." It is signed "Montgomery" and dated.
Upon closer examination you can see the artist here incorporated pencil, oil-on-canvas as well as silk screen techniques throughout. The colors, the large size and the multidimensional qualities make this a unique wall piece.
We are proud to have a companion piece by the same artist, their interpretation of Grant Wood's iconic "American Gothic." -
