Roger Murdoch Wright, who died in 1962 trained as an engineer before abandoning his trade for the lure of becoming a full time artist.
This large canvas has a calm illusionary quality which is perfect for Wrights’ imagined oasis set within sight of the pyramids.
Sensitively reframed in the 1980’s.
