Retains the original typed placard — price $425 — with Jacoby's own description: "This is a pure word-image or wordscape, where the form itself gives meaning to the word. The word itself becomes the plastic entity where one can know things by sight."

Ruth Jacoby (1903–1993) was a New York visual poet whose work bridges typography, collage, and Pop Art.
