Theodore Tihansky (American, 1953-2019) Monhegan Island, Maine landscape. Abstract oil painting on artist board, perhaps depicting a boat just offshore in the foreground with island in the background, signed lower right. Image size: 7.25" high x 9" wide. Framed: 14" x 16" overall.
Tihansky, born in New Jersey, became a Monhegan Island resident in the early 2000s when he moved "to Monhegan and opened a gallery there, working as a sternman on a lobster boat when not painting". - More Information
