Three wall objects designed as a triptych by the German artist Willi Siber. The upright rectangular individual works are made of MDF with interference varnish and milled into the surface in an undulating pattern. These vertical wavy lines ebb and flow within the triptych, increasing in intensity and sharpness. Associations with water and music are evoked.
The rhythm is varied and intensified by the special application of the paint, with its play of colors changing between pink, violet and green depending on the incidence of light and point of view. The result is an image that is never rigid, something is in motion, it flows - in three different ways, distributed in three works and yet legible as a whole.
Willi Siber is a contemporary artist born in 1949 in Eberhardzell in southern Germany. Siber is a painter and sculptor and has had several exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland and the USA. He lives and works in Germany.
