Candice O’Donnell leads a busy and eclectic life on the Atlantic coast of south west England; she’s a professional surfer and an environmental activist as well as being an accomplished and successful artist. A former student of Master Artist Sax Berlin, Candice has produced this short series of Pig Dog paintings. A familiar character of Keith Haring, the little Pig Dog is globally familiar. This painting echoes the symbolism and meaning inherent from Haring, embellished with her own symbolism brought forward in time to the 21st century. A nod to her mentor is also to be seen here in some of the imagery.
