Rodger's 'The Acholi tribe in Uganda' is an exceptional series of four photographs displaying the traditional Bwola dance. One of the four has an explanatory caption on the back of the photograph: 'In the dance it symbolises a continuous, unchanging element in the lives of the people - their ancient traditions and tribal lore'.

Four silver gelatin prints. Stamped, numbered and titled on verso, excellent tonal range and condition.
