Description
A handsome couple are bathed in magical late afternoon light. They are depicted at a peak moment of drama as they engage in a homey discussion. Sundblom's paint application has freedom and quick energy . Every brush stroke carries a substantial amount information as the artists describes shapes and forms with a flick of the wrist. His sophisticated use of color engages the viewer. The bright sunflower yellows and pinks cloak the figures is a warm glow. In person, the work beckons.
