Photographed in 1960 for Life magazine Christa Vogel is wearing a Dior creation in the Francine Weisweiller Fumoir located at 4 Place des Etats-Unis as decorated by Madeleine Castaing. Note the mouflon head snuff box on the cocktail table. “Castaing said it’s good to throw in an ugly element to set everything off.” (information courtesy of Emily Eerdmans). THE 24” x 36” SIZE OF THIS IMAGE IS ONLY OFFERED IN AN EDITION OF 15. All Mark Shaw prints are made to order in limited editions on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper.
