Description
The selection of a perfect day with crisp light and a deep cobalt blue sky provides the ideal setting for Photographer Mitchell Funk to create a precisely designed photograph of East 42nd Street with the Chrysler Building. Funk's upward-looking composition is as abstract as representational, with the sky and architecture areas alternating between positive and negative shapes.
The present work is part of his current exhibition, Mitchell Funk Photographs The Chrysler Building for 50 Years.
The work is signed, dated, and numbered 3/15, lower right recto. printed later , Other sizes are available and the fine art photograph is unframed. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
