Divine Intervention: Central Park Ambulance Scene Bathed in Golden Glowing Light
-
Description
Divine Intervention? Magical, almost angelic light envelops an ambulance event in Central Park. The body language of the surrounding crowd and the open ambulance door indicate a serious health issue is being addressed. Photographer Mitchell Funk's lens seems to capture the moment more deeply. The golden glow of the vast lawn in the foreground denotes “green pastures” or the word of God. Caravaggioesque rim lighting of the figures brings an angelic energy to the scene. The viewer can only think of an act of the Devine is involved in a human situation. Darkness is overwhelmed by light to shape a positive outcome.
