Wherever You Look You See The Chrysler Building: Park Avenue

A giant moon is unexpectedly pictured resting between two skyscrapers on Park Avenue. This image was done as an assignment for a Business Week cover. The editors wanted a high-drama visual that supported their equally consequential cover story. They hired a young 21-year-old to reimagine the image of corporate America. Fifty-four years later, the image is equally powerful and fits into Photographer Mitchell Funk's current exhibition, "Wherever You Look, You See The Chrysler Building." Among the hard-edge graphic shapes of adjacent skyscrapers, the viewer sees the curvilinear Art Deco spire as it gracefully points upward.
Signed dated and numbered 2/15 lower right recto, other sizes available, printed later, unframed. This work is printed on fine art Hahnemuhle paper. The color will vary from monitor to monitor.
