Giddy was just that. He showed up with such an impressive readiness to get down to business. Australian Shepherds are remarkably intelligent and are naturally task-oriented-- they love to be busy and focused. They are the employees that show up to work an hour early with donuts for the entire staff. Happy, positive and driven. Giddy was also quite the looker. His piercing blue eyes had all of us a little lost in them, and as soon as I snapped this photo and saw it appear on the monitor above me, I knew it was in the running for the cover. It’s all there, everything that we know and love about our dogs-- the joy, the goodness and the depth. He must have known what a great job he did too, because as soon as we wrapped his session, Giddy flew from the platform straight into my arms. Good dog.
