Rare 1982 Gay Olympic Games Poster

Sold Sold
  • Description
A 1982 Gay Olympic Games poster. The USOC successfully sued the organizers forbidding the word “olympic” be used. This is part of the original run of 350. Eventually the event was renamed the Gay Games. The opening ceremony featured singer Tina Turner. Considered the point when preconceived notions around homosexuality were challenged. Thanks to Stephen Wood for source material.
