The Beatles by Richard Avedon, offset lithographs for Look Magazine, 1967. A set of four psychedelic portraits — John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr — from the original 1967 printing. A previous set from our gallery, Solo Modern, was featured in a 1stdibs editorial shoot.

Each poster has been archivally floated on white mat board, under UV plexiglass, and framed in a 1.25 inch white lacquer wood cube molding.

The original Look Magazine banner poster — a black and white composite of all four Beatles — is included unframed, with rolling creases consistent with nearly 60 years of tube storage.

The original Look Magazine shipping tube is included. Emblazoned with psychedelic "Beatles" typography, it retains the original recipient's address and sender's return address: Beatles Posters, Box 1, Look Building, Des Moines, IA 50304.

Printed in the lower left of each poster is the band member's name — e.g., JOHN LENNON photographed by Richard Avedon for Look Magazine.
