Set of four framed hand-colored parrot wood engravings on paper by Alexander Francis Lydon (1836-1917) in gilt decorated black lacquered frames with gesso and water gilded inner mounts.
The titles of the engravings are The Rose Hill or Rosella Parrakeet, the Jamaica Parrot, the Blue Crowned or Crested Lory and the Military Macaw.
Lydon was a British watercolor artist, illustrator and engraver of natural history and landscapes. -
