Six framed scenes from Shakespeare plays. Ca 1798 and published by Boydell. The Shakespeare gallery opened on Pall Mall in 1789, the inspiration of print publisher John Boydell based on the enormous interest in Shakespeare at the end of the 18th century. These are from a large folio book.
