On a striped green lawn, figures in hooded white togas stand in rows, their backs to the viewer.

Each holds out their left hand before them and resting on the flat of their palm is a black inkwell with a bright white feather quill sticking out of it. The artist is also responsible for writing and illustrating books like Jumanji and The Polar Express. From the Mother Goose Portfolio, this print is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist.
