Description
Itzchak Tarkay, Figural Nude Color Serigraph, Signed and Numbered, 2000s
Beautiful limited edition serigraph by Itzchak Tarkay, pencil signed by the artist and numbered 232/400. This vibrant, elegantly composed portrait showcases the colorful and expressive figurative style that made Tarkay internationally collected during the height of his career.
The artwork features a richly colored female portrait with the sophisticated atmosphere and textured visual style characteristic of Tarkay’s most desirable works. Includes a visible blindstamp and is professionally custom matted and framed, ready for display.
Itzchak Tarkay (1935–2012) was an Israeli painter best known for colorful figurative works featuring elegant women in relaxed interior settings. His style blends elements of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, often compared to artists like Henri Matisse and Pierre Bonnard.
