These pieces enhance the reflective depth of the urban landscape, making each scene feel immersive and alive.
Urban Reverie: NYC Reimagined —A poetic fusion of movement, light, and architectural depth. This collection transforms iconic cityscapes into immersive compositions, elevating spaces with a dynamic interplay of translucency, reflection, and form. Designed for interiors that embrace art as an experience, these pieces bring the pulse of New York into contemporary environments. This stunning NYC Architectural Artwork series captures the essence of New York City’s most iconic locations through an interplay of movement, light, and space.
Leila Pinto is a NYC and Hamptons based multidisciplinary artist whose versatile practice spans traditional techniques—such as oil, acrylic, and mixed media paintings —as well as innovative digital processes including animation. As a classically trained painter, Leila's work explores compelling themes rooted in current events, culture, and nature, and explores the human condition, offering a dynamic dialogue between the classic and contemporary.
Inspired by her career on Wall Street as a Managing Director, she creates large abstract paintings about events that shaped the global economy like the financial crisis and Brexit, translating those emotions and impressions into colorful, expressive canvases. Her Wall Street series, in particular, captures the complexities of these pivotal moments, making them resonate on a deeply human level.
Her artistic aesthetic is also inspired by her many weekends and summers spent on eastern Long Island. She captures the beautiful light and essence of the ocean in her abstract seascapes. Through her ocean inspired paintings, she raises awareness and inspires action on important global issues.
Leila is exploring new digital technologies in art, blending her traditional techniques with innovative approaches. She spoke on a panel in Davos on NFTs and the Metaverse; was featured in the first all-female exhibition in Singapore; and was named one of the top 5 digital artists to watch.
Her paintings, which continue to garner a growing following among collectors and curators, reveals a unique artistic point of view. They have been included in prestigious juried art shows, exhibited in galleries, received awards, published, and displayed on a grand scale on the Jumbotron in Times Square, at the Oculus World Trade Center, in Hudson Yards and on a giant 24-foot-tall Monolith at SCOPE Art Fair during Art Basel Miami, at the Metaverse Summit in Monte Carlo, and during the Climate Summit in Dubai, among others. -
