Surrounded by children and a small dog, the picador in this Pablo Picasso print appears aged due to the wrinkles across his face.
Rendered in very thin lines that spread across his cheekbones and into the hollows of his cheeks, the wrinkled skin of the bullfighter indicates his longevity and success in the potentially-fatal sport, which he now presumably watches from the sidelines with his grandchildren. -
