Description
This loosely rendered and highly narrative Post Impressionist Lithograph entitled “LE HAVRE” by Raoul Dufy originates from France, Circa 1930. A striking composition, this lithograph features a view of Le Havre, a port city located in the Normandy Region of Northern France. A seascape with remarkable depth, this piece features a cluster of figures located in the foreground, a series of ships and sailboats throughout the water, and a city in the distance with clouds and smoke billowing through the sky. Rendered in blue and pale cream colors, each stroke has remarkable character and movement, with speed and fluidity on full display. A dynamic picture, this Lithograph will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In a custom gilt-wood gallery frame. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
