Hand Sculpture by James Prestini

Price Upon Request
  • Description
James Prestini's hand-held objects were originally made for an exhibition for the blind - a haptic experience of perception. Though this series
was referred to as "hand-held", Prestini rarely if ever left an actual trace of his hand on anything, everything was machine made.
This is a rare autobiographical example, as the artist actually carved his own hand imprint into the back of the sculpture.
