Exquisite "Female Nudes" wall-hanging sculpture with figural motif engraved into hand-brazed, multidimensional bronze and pewter sculptured panel with subtle blue and green enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1970s (Signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on front). This motif is a relative of The Bathers. According to Kelvin LaVerne, it was incredibly difficult to execute in this form and only one was made. This masterful LaVerne work is captivating from every angle and throughout each intricate detail. It is a tour de force of artisanship.

The caption reads, “FEMALE NUDES, a unique work in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-painted enamels on a complex hand-brazed sculptured panel, was created in the 1970s… [this was] challenging to execute… a testament to the artisanship of Philip and Kelvin LaVerne.”
