Large Chinese Qing painting of an important government official and master scholar with flowing hair, mustache, beard and black headdress, wearing a colorful red loosely draped robe decorated with blue dragons and flowers, green lining, holding an ivory yiban. There is a shield enclosing a Chinese inscription by his disciples or students presenting this painting to him.
