Description
Here is a recent work by the American artist, Joe Chierchio. Colored pencil on paper with a watercolor wash. Done in 2017. Signed by the artist. Professionally matted and framed with white mat and 1.25 inch wide satin white frame. Overall 29.5 by 39.5 inches.
Joe Chierchio studied art at the School Of Art And Design, Pratt Institute
and The School of Visual Arts. He began his career as an Art Director,
working at Grey Advertising, Bates Worldwide, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Young &
Rubicam. Joe has won his share of awards for art direction ‘’ Andy ‘’ ‘’
Gold Effie ‘’ and ‘’ Art Direction Magazine ‘’ to name a few.
He has taught art direction at the School Of Visual Arts, and has lectured
at colleges and corporations in New York City and New Jersey. After a
successful career as an Art Director, Joe made a transition into Fine Art.
Sculpting in stone became his passion. His award winnings sculptures and
have been shown in galleries in New York City, The Hamptons on Long Island
and Italy.
