H.P. Lovecraft Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath Original Art for Sale, Signed

Legendary American illustrator Murray Tinkelman creates a fantasy world filled with a dragon, a mosque, and a nineteenth-century Clipper ship floating in the clouds. It's a prime example of Tinkelman's signature style composed of thousands of minute crosshatches. To some extent, his style is an evolution of Pointillism, where, close up, it's an abstraction, but as you move back, the human eye and brain blend the dots together from a distance to reveal a dreamy image.
Based on the label on the verso and the pictures' narrative and degree of finish, it appears to have been done on assignment for H.P. Lovecraft's Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath. Based on a search, we can not determine if it was published. Yet in the 1970s, not everything reproduced was subsequently scanned and uploaded to the internet. The work is signed and dated in the upper right, initialed and dated below the mosque, and also signed on the verso. Elegantly framed under glass to 22.5 x 20.07
