English Pottery "Coiled" Snake Pipe, Circa 1810

  • Description
    Rare molded pottery “coiled” pipe in the shape of a snake swallowing a head. Hand-painted in underglaze green, reddish brown and black. These pipes are usually attributed to Pratt who worked in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, but they were manufactured in many pottery centers in Britain as well as Wales and Scotland.
