A refined French Louis XVI style bed in painted wood. The simple arched headboard and footboard feature wonderful neoclassical lines with carved detailing, complemented by green upholstered panels that add period character and texture. Turned and fluted elements reflect the Louis XVI aesthetic, while the painted finish shows gentle age-appropriate wear. The bed retains its old green fabric, offering either charming patina or an excellent foundation for reupholstery.
