Description
A handsome 19th-century French étagère crafted in solid walnut, featuring elegantly turned supports and four generously spaced shelves. Recently stripped to reveal the natural warmth and grain of the walnut, the piece offers a clean, versatile presentation while retaining its antique character.
Notably practical in design, the étagère fully dismantles to a flat configuration, allowing for ease of transport and storage — a desirable feature rarely found in period examples.
The proportions provide excellent depth, making it suitable for larger books, ceramics, serving pieces, or curated decorative displays.
A versatile and functional antique shelf unit ideal for kitchens, libraries, retail display, or layered interiors blending traditional and modern elements. -
