Description
-VENERE - Amazing Brutalist bed headboard in cast bronze .
This piece of the early 70s is called -Venere - the headboard is numbered 20/200 and it is a typical work of the Italian sculptor Gianni Pinna .
Gianni Pinna was born in Guspini (Ca) in 1934. He has held countless solo and group exhibitions in Italy since 1975 (Milan, Biella, Bollate, Busto Arsizio, Como, Casale Monferrato, Los Angeles, Paris, etc.). His sculptural work has found fertile application in design and art applied to industry. He was part of the Codi-Art Group with Pedro Fiori and Saldador Presta. Many critics, from Carlo Franza to Domenico Cara, Pedro Fiori, Mario Radice, were interested in his work, which was repeatedly awarded in National Competitions. Present in the national press and in Official Art Catalogs. His works are found in important Italian and foreign collections. He is the winner of the Premio delle Arti, the Culture XX Prize, 2008 edition. - More Information
