A pair of headboards by Gio Ponti from the furniture of the Hotel Royal in Naples, 1955.
Manufactured by Giordano Chiesa by Dassi.
Ash with two tiered shelving, magazine rack, space for lighting and radio unit ( not working).
Good condition. original patina, small marks.
Sold with a copy of a certificate of Lisa Licitra Ponti and the original invoice of the Hotel Royal.
Directly from the original furniture of the Royal Hotel.
Measures: H 80 cm 162 x 42cm each piece; total length of the hardboards: 324 cm
Distance between the two shelves: 202 cm

His collection includes famous items designed by Gio Ponti as well as other well-known Italian designers such as Ico Pairisi, Osvaldo Borsani, Carlo De Carli , Carlo Mollino, Melchiorre Bega, Joe Colombo. A lot of furniture items projected by these designers were published on important magazines such as AD, The World Interiors, Elle, Domus.
