The history of American of Martinsville is one with a rich portfolio of work, ubiquitous in the world of Mid-Century Modern design. The manufacturer’s style varied greatly in an attempt to appeal to new generations of home owners, these are the years of the “furniture set” which populated entire dining rooms and bedrooms with ease. One designer in American of Martinsville’s stable of talent was Merton Gershun, possible their most notable name, who expertly created these handsome nightstands.

The aluminum inlay and asymmetrical recessed drawer pulls are all gorgeously patinated from age giving them a warm brass hue which is quite a desirable look paired with walnut.
