Angelo Mangiarotti Sorgente del Mobile Commode in Wood, 60s
-
Description
Angelo Mangiarotti was a very important Italian architect and designer, born in 1921 in Milan. He studied architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and graduated in 1948. Then he moved to the US for a short period of time where he had the chance to meet Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius, and Mies van der Rohe, who were crucial to his own growth and style development.
Here we have a commode in wood made by Angelo Mangiarotti in the 60s for Sorgente del Mobile. It has three little drawers right under the plain surface, and three compartments underneath to store bigger objects (despite the little shelf inside).
Original and in good condition. -
