Antique French Louis XVI Chinoiserie-style Secretaire

This 1900s French Louis XVI Chinoiserie-style secretaire features an ebonized and lacquered finish that allows for the intricate daily life and garden scenes to stand out. On top of the secretaire is the original 1½ inch thick marble slab with beveled edges. The drop front desk features an embossed red leather with gilt trim work area and open shelving. Below the desk is a two door cabinet with an adjustable wood shelf and ample storage space. The desk is finished with ornate brass accents on the legs, skirt, below the marble top and the keyhole plates. The locks and key are in working condition. This secretaire is sturdy, elegant, and ready to be used in any home or office for years to come.
