Description
Magnificent pair of Dorothy Draper style bowed front bachelors chests. These are fabulous in person-very high end. Would you take a look at those fabulous ornate brass pulls with the marvelous bit of inlayed wood surrounding them. Also look at the wonderful carved corners terminating into the unusual front and back legs. There is also a middle tamboured door cabinet that originally came with this pair making it into a long dresser if desired. We like them used as bachelors chests so we just removed the connecting cabinet but the small cabinet can easily be installed to connect them all together. There are holes on one side of each cabinet to attach the middle cabinet-very hard to notice-see photos. These lovely chest are quite rare and are in wonderful vintage condition.
Nice vintage condition. Tops do have some light scratches but still look quite good. Some minor bumps and dings on the legs and edges but nothing serious or distracting. Holes are drilled in side of both to accommodate central cabinet-hard to notice -
